Ouch!
While parts of the country are battling snow, ice and other winter weather conditions.. It was been a very pleasant January here in the Florida Keys.. Highs in the mid 70's.... Which makes for some good flats fishing..

Permit!
Warmer water temperatures, give us the chance to hunt permit, tarpon and bonefish.
How ever there are lots of other fish to target this time of year.. Trout, ladyfish, redfish, jacks, cudas and sharks are all fun too!?

Mark from Iowa with his first redfish.
Lots of redfish in the back country this winter. More then I have seen in years...

Matt putting the heat to a black tip shark!

Barracuda
Winter time is barracuda time.. These fish are a blast! They are faster then a bonefish and can jump higher then a tarpon.

Cori with a tarpon.
Speaking of tarpon.. It is almost that time.. In another month the front runners of the tarpon migration will start to appear in the lay up basins.. I CAN'T WAIT! Neither can my regular anglers. I have been getting inquires and bookings every day, now that the holidays are over.. Still have days available for this tarpon season..

Don't wait too long if you want a spot on the bow..
